Public engagement is foundational to a comprehensive Park Needs Assessment!

Phase 2 Community Engagement

The second phase of community engagement is focused on refining and further understanding the priorities identified by the community during the first round of engagement.

Engagement Goals

Educate the public about the role RAP plays within the City of Los Angeles.

Solicit input from a diverse audience from a diverse cross-section of the City, including individuals who may not be able to attend meetings.

Provide opportunities for communities across the City to provide feedback on the PNA process, including progress updates on the TAC, Steering Committee, and RAP components of the Draft’s development.

Include hybrid options that allow for a variety of methods based on any prevailing health restrictions, community preference, or other unforeseen requirements.

Couldn't make it to our first round of community meetings? Take our survey!

Open through mid April!

Our short survey takes about 5–8 minutes to complete.

Take the Short Survey

Have some more time? Our long survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and offers the opportunity to answer all the community meeting questions.

Neighborhood Councils

City of LA Neighborhood Councils are an important part of this project because they have a great sense of Park Needs in their neighborhoods!

We have requested a short report from each of the 99 Neighborhood Councils that includes their priorities. Councils can choose to submit a report, which is requested no later than June 2, 2025. Each Neighborhood Council received an email request. If you cannot locate your neighborhood council’s email request, please let us know at LACityParksNeeds@theolinstudio.com.

We are presenting to the LA Neighborhood Council Coalition at the April 4, 2025, standing meeting.
