Preemptive strategies may include creating defensible space, maintaining vegetation management zones, and incorporating technology like cameras and sensors. Defensive strategies may include reducing ignition potential through the use of non-combustible materials, fire-resistant plant species, and adequate separation between structures and flammable vegetation.
