The Park Needs Assessment is grounded in national research on the essential role parks play in our everyday lives—from improving health and wellness to providing economic opportunities to building stronger communities. It also acknowledges and builds on the planning efforts by RAP and other local entities that are setting the course for a more environmentally sustainable and culturally sensitive Los Angeles.
